libgtkspell0 software package provides a spell-checking addon for GTKs TextView widget, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgtkspell0
libgtkspell0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgtkspell0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgtkspell0 *
You will get with libgtkspell0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
